Overview
The Zephyr 3 Rugged Antenna was designed for applications in high vibration and shock environments. The Zephyr 3 Rugged provides millimeter level accuracy needed to enhance your position solution via robust signal tracking and advanced filtering capabilities that are built into the unit.
The Zephyr 3 Rugged antenna by Trimble offers full support for both current and future GNSS signals. These include GLONASS, GPS, BeiDou, Galileo, SBAS, IRNSS, QZSS, Trimble RTX and OmniSTAR.
The product is available in two versions – one for 3 inch thread and the other for 5/8 – 11 inch thread mast mounting.
Extra iridium filtering below 1510 MHz allows for antenna placement closer to Japanese LTE cell towers, while filtering above 1616 MHz allows antenna to be used close to iridium transmitters (20 m).
The Zephyr 3 Rugged antenna also offers 50 dB signal gain for reliable tracking in challenging environments and long cable runs, as well as an advanced LNA (low noise amplifier) to reduce interference by high power out-of-band transmitters.
