Description

Overview
GPS Source’s RMS18 is a radio frequency device with 1 input and 8 outputs for splitting Galileo, GLONASS, and GPS signals. It is built into a rack mount that is compatible with existing 19-inch rack mount equipment.
From a roof-mounted GPS antenna or simulator, it receives a signal and splits it 8 ways to GPS timing boards or receivers. Essentially, it serves as a distribution network indoors for GPS signals.
Applications are found particularly in cellular, test, and timing laboratories employing global positioning service.
Many options are available for power, gain, and connector types. A beacon option allows splitting/amplifying the GPS signal at the same time a beacon frequency is passed.
